Anthropic has updated Remote Control in Claude Code, according to Ben's Bites. Users can now start a new Claude Code session from their phone, dropped connections between laptop and phone recover themselves, and sessions load faster on iOS.

Anthropic also launched Claude Academy, described as a collection of courses, tutorials and job-specific guides for using Claude. All the resources are free and open to anyone, and Anthropic has published its approach to teaching and learning AI.

Other items in the roundup: ChatGPT can be connected to Apple Messages, where it can search messages, catch users up on conversations, and draft or send replies from a Mac. It is available in ChatGPT Work and Codex on desktop. OpenAI said GPT-Image-2 can now generate transparent backgrounds in the API, and GPT-5.6-Sol is now 20% cheaper in the API at $4/$24 per 1M input/output tokens.

Grok Bot is now available to all SuperGrok Plus, Cursor Pro+ and Cursor Teams subscribers, with a free one-week trial. Claude Mythos 5 will power Claude Security for enterprise customers, the first rollout of Mythos outside Project Glasswing. Deepgram released Flux TTS, text-to-speech built for live conversation, which responds in as low as 80ms, carries context across turns and handles interruptions natively.
