Google is launching a one-stop Gemini agent for your work tasks
Google announced a "universal" Gemini AI agent at its Gemini at Work event on Thursday. The agent will be available within the Gemini Enterprise app, where users can chat with it and assign tasks from a single interface, and it operates in the background across apps and devices.
Beyond working directly inside Workspace apps such as Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar, the agent can be reached from a mobile device, desktop computer, web browser, and third-party apps including Slack and Microsoft 365. Because it runs in the cloud, Gemini maintains the same context across those different access points.
