Claim up to $95 today from Apple’s Siri AI settlement – here’s how

Collected Oct 1, 2026

Apple has agreed to settle a class-action lawsuit filed in March 2025 that alleged false advertising tied to its AI-enhanced Siri. The suit claimed Apple failed to deliver on Siri AI features it had promoted in advertising and at product events, including WWDC 2024.

Apple has denied any wrongdoing, and there has been no finding of culpability. The company placed $250 million into a settlement fund from which certain iPhone owners can collect a share.

To qualify, a person must have purchased an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or any iPhone 16 model between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025. Claims are submitted at the Smartphone AI Settlement website, where claimants indicate whether they received a claim ID and PIN and whether they are filing on their own behalf or for a company. The process asks for contact information and, if requested, the eligible iPhone's serial number, along with a preferred payment method: check, PayPal, Venmo, or ACH. Each method requires additional details, such as bank name, account number, and routing number for ACH.

Buyers of more than one qualifying iPhone during the period can file a separate claim for each device. The deadline to file is December 21.

According to the website set up by the lawsuit's attorneys, payments could range from a minimum of $25 to a maximum of $95 per device, though the amount may increase or decrease depending on the number of claims and other factors. The legal firm Clarkson, which is behind the suit, has posted a form on its website for an email newsletter with settlement updates.

A final approval hearing is scheduled for Feb. 24, 2027, in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, where the court will evaluate the settlement's fairness and issue a final judgment. If all proceeds as expected, qualifying iPhone owners would receive payment sometime next year.
