Cloudflare OS: your company’s agent workspace, managed for you

Collected Oct 7, 2026

Cloudflare opened a waitlist for fully managed deployments of Cloudflare OS, its agent workspace for organizations, according to a company announcement. The product was announced last month along with an open source repository, and Cloudflare says thousands of organizations have since used it to work with company data, produce documents and slides, build team tools, and automate work with agents.

Launching a managed workspace takes a few clicks in the Cloudflare dashboard. Customers specify a custom domain, the Cloudflare Access policies that apply, and which AI Gateway to connect; Cloudflare handles the rest. In the managed option, organizations still decide who can access Cloudflare OS, which organizational skills and context are available, and which systems it can reach. The open-source version can already be deployed into a customer's own Cloudflare account, which Cloudflare notes gives full control but requires someone to configure, operate, and keep the deployment up to date.

Cloudflare also shipped new capabilities. Agents can now connect to an existing GitHub repository: they can explore a codebase, fix a bug, add a feature, or open a pull request, as well as search and edit files, review changes, create commits, and push to GitHub. Previously agents could write code for an app but not work with code in an existing Git repository.

Google Workspace support expanded through the Google Workspace Gatekeeper, described as a service-specific Worker that sits between Cloudflare OS and an external service. Cloudflare OS can now read and research Gmail threads, create drafts, and send emails, and users can connect an entire Google Drive, a specific folder, or an individual doc or sheet.

The built-in document, presentation, and spreadsheet experiences can export to Microsoft Excel (.xlsx), CSV, PDF, Markdown, or HTML. Microsoft Word (.docx) and PowerPoint (.pptx) export is coming soon. Tools built on the platform can define their own export formats; an agent can add options such as a calendar file (.ics) to a tool's export menu when asked.

Why it matters: Teams that want Cloudflare OS can either self-deploy the open-source version from its repository or join the waitlist for a managed deployment, which removes the work of configuring, operating, and updating it. New GitHub and Google Workspace connections extend what agents can reach inside existing company systems.
