Announcing LangGraph v0.1 & LangGraph Cloud: Running agents at scale, reliably

LangChain announced a stable release of LangGraph v0.1 and introduced LangGraph Cloud, infrastructure for deploying LangGraph agents in a scalable, fault-tolerant way. LangGraph Cloud is in closed beta. LangChain said access requires signing up for the LangGraph Cloud waitlist and first having a LangSmith account.
LangGraph is a framework, separate from the langchain package, for building agentic and multi-agent applications. LangChain said its design philosophy is to give developers more precision and control in agentic workflows. The company said the framework offers a flexible API for custom cognitive architectures, conditional branching and looping, single-agent or multi-agent setups with hierarchical or sequential decision patterns, and built-in persistence for human-agent collaboration, including waiting for human approval, editing actions before execution, and inspecting, rewiring, editing and resuming execution, described as time travel features. It also natively supports streaming of intermediate steps and token-by-token streaming.
LangChain named Klarna, Replit, Ally, Elastic and NCL among companies already relying on LangGraph. Andres Torres, Sr. Solutions Architect at Norwegian Cruise Line, Michele Catasta, VP of AI at Replit, Garrett Spong, Principal SWE at Elastic, and Sathish Muthukrishnan, Chief Information, Data and Digital Officer at Ally Financial, were quoted in the announcement.
LangGraph Cloud adds double-texting with reject, queue, interrupt and rollback strategies, asynchronous background jobs checkable via polling or webhook, and cron jobs. It includes LangGraph Studio for visualizing agent trajectories, debugging failure modes and adding breakpoints for interruption, state editing, resumption and time travel. LangChain said deployment works by selecting a LangGraph repo from GitHub and deploying with one click, and that LangGraph Cloud is integrated within LangSmith for tracking usage, errors, performance and costs in production.
A note in the announcement states that as of October 2025, LangGraph Platform has been renamed LangSmith Deployment.
