This one WatchOS 27 feature just solved my biggest issue with Apple Watch

Apple has introduced a dynamic app grid in WatchOS 27 for the Apple Watch, according to a ZDNET report. The feature keeps frequently used and recent apps front and center while placing other apps one more touch away. When a user presses the digital crown, six top apps appear on screen, and an app bubble at the bottom opens the full home screen.
The report describes the prior software generations as displaying every available app on the home screen at a very small size, requiring extra precision for users with larger fingers to select apps.
ZDNET notes that users can still toggle between list view and grid view by swiping to the bottom of the screen display.
On availability, the report states WatchOS 27 is available on Apple Watch Series 9, 10, 11, and 12, Apple Watch SE 3, and Apple Watch Ultra 2, 3, and 4. Users must first update their iPhone to iOS 27 to get the WatchOS 27 software update.
The report also says Siri AI is the biggest WatchOS 27 update, describing the assistant as more agentic, quicker, and conversational, with its own app. A new widget opens the Smart Stack with a gesture, which the report says is useful for viewing a new step-tracking configuration on the Series 12 or identifying a song playing through Apple's improved Shazam.
