BREAKING: Florida seeks injunction against OpenAI

Florida is seeking an injunction against OpenAI, according to a post by Gary Marcus. Marcus wrote that he agrees with the Florida attorney general's position that OpenAI does not have the ability to properly regulate its own technology. He called for an injunction and said every state and country should follow Florida's lead.
Marcus also referenced an Axios report on top AI labs investigating tens of thousands of security incidents, describing it as in some ways the bigger news, though it had not received as much coverage.
Separately, Marcus commented on an Nvidia announcement of a platform for AI Agent Safety. He described it as an implicit acknowledgment that there is reason for concern and as an important step toward addressing issues with general-purpose agents that have internet access. He said how much it actually helps remains to be seen, noting that Nvidia often announces software, such as Nemoclaw, that had relatively little impact. He wrote that it is too early to tell whether the new platform will help a little, a lot, or not at all, and that Andrew Ng was bullish on it.
Marcus said he liked that important functions are handed over to deterministic symbolic code, adding that LLMs in themselves should never be trusted.
